What We Built

We built production AI agents for document classification, routing, and triage, running reliably at operational scale. The system is designed around the assumption that the model will sometimes be wrong, so uncertainty is measured and escalated rather than hidden.

How We Approached It

Azure AI Foundry with cost-appropriate model routing, confidence thresholds that escalate uncertain cases to a human, and an audit log on every action the system takes. No regulated decision is made autonomously; the agents do the volume work and hand the judgement calls to people.

Outcome

The team processes a far higher volume without a matching rise in headcount, every decision is traceable, and the cases that genuinely need human judgement are the ones that reach a human. The system runs tens of thousands of times a month without supervision.
